A/Prof Chris Wright, an Associate Professor with the Business School, University of Adelaide, has a multi-disciplinary PhD, MA(Econ), and BA(1st Class Hons Com.) from Simon Fraser University and a Dip Bio-Sci. (a two-year BCIT Agri-management program). Dr Wright was the Professor of Accounting and Head of the Melbourne Institute of Technology School of Business, the Professor of Accounting and a Director (Centre of Accounting & Education Research) at Lincoln University (NZ), an Associate Professor Accounting at Lakehead University (Ontario) and Assistant Professor at University of Northern BC and SFU. His industry qualifications include: FCPA (Australia), CMA (Canada) and FRSA (UK). Dr Wright has taught and developed over 23 under-grad and post-grad courses in accounting, economics and aquaculture over three decades. He has extensive industry and board experience with resource and services-based firms and NGOs. Dr. Wright’s research interests include: accounting theory, micro and small business, micro-finance, teaching, and finance.
