Sayouba OUEDRAOGO is a professor at the Training and Research Unit in Economics and Management (UFR-SEG). Of the University Thomas SANKARA. He has a PhD of the University of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso and an Advanced Studies Diploma in Human Resources Economics of the Third Cycle Interuniversity Program (PTCI) in Economics in Africa, and a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Agricultural Economics and a Certificate in International Development Project Management (MPDI) from the Université de Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and from SETYM INTERNATIONAL and a Certificat of Aptitude for Associate Professor from the African and Malagasy Council for Higher Education (CAMES).
In addition Sayouba OUEDRAOGO is active in non-profit organizations. He is Secretary General of the West African Monetary Union Think Thank Network (RTT-UEMOA). Also, he is a Secretary in charge of forecasting and ad hoc committees of the Association for the socio-economic development of the Northern region (ADES-Nord) of Burkina Faso and a President of the Center for Research, Studies, Training and Awareness on Efficiency and Awareness on Productivity (CREF-VEP) and He is a member of Association for Research on Non-profit Organization and Voluntary Action (A RNOVA) and member of a Global Thinkers of United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC).
Sayouba was Chairman of the Board of Directors of the "Center for Information, Training and Studies on the Budget (CIFOEB) and Former Member of the Regulatory Council of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (CR/ARMP) in Burkina Faso. Also, He was a Head of Research at the « Center for Studies, Documentation and Research in Economic and Social Sciences (CEDRES). And He was a Pedagogical responsible of the Master in Planning and Management of Educational Structures (MPGSE) at the « Institute de Formation à Distance (IFOAD) of the Thomas SANKARA University.
Sayouba has experience on partnership work with the State, Non-profit organizations, technical and financial partners and International organizations (UNICEF, United Nations Development Program, European Union, World Bank).
His research focuses of labor economics, Economics of education, agricultural economics, and civil society organizations.
