International Journal of Social Work (IJSW) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Macrothink Institute. The journal publishes original research on social work theory, professional practice, social services, and public policy. It welcomes empirical and evaluative studies of interventions, social care, mental health, disability, aging, community services, and social work education.

Peer Review Process

The journal uses double-anonymized peer-reviewed system for peer-review. The manuscript will be peer-reviewed by at least two independent external reviewers with relevant expertise.

 

Publication Frequency

Semiannual, published in June and December

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
