Co-Management: A Case study social communications of Labuan coastal tourism
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of social communication in Labuan beach tourism. This one-year study was carried out on the Labuan coastline, Pandeglang Regency, Banten, West Java, Indonesia. It was conducted using descriptive, clear questions and stratified. Data was collected utilizing the stratified sample approach and triangulation procedures, which included open observation, structured interviews, and in-depth interviews. The study discovered that social communication may still be improved to foster community empowerment in maintaining and serving the shore. Furthermore, it is critical to communicate the program using social media channels that are easily accessible to stakeholders, particularly local communities. The implication is that the coast is free of trash, and tourists and stakeholders can use it in a natural way.
