Focus and Scope
Journal of Biology and Life Science (JBLS) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal, published by Macrothink Institute. It publishes original articles in all areas of Biology and Life Science.
Authors are encouraged to submit complete unpublished and original works, which are not under review in any other journals. The scopes of the journal include, but not limited to, the following topic areas: Biology, Life Science, Anatomy, Botany, Cytology, Genetics, Microbiology, Physiology, Zoology, Ecology, Hydrobiology, Neurobiology, Developmental Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Biotechnology.

Peer Review Process
The journal uses single-blind system: the reviewers' identities remain anonymous to authors, while the reviewers can see authors' identities. Two reviewers from outside and one editor from the journal typically involve in reviewing a submission.

2013 Semiannual, published in February and August
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
