Journal of Social Science Studies

Journal of Social Science Studies (ISSN: 2329-9150) is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published online semiannually in June and December by Macrothink Institute, USA. It aims to provide a premier platform for researchers and scholars worldwide to share cutting-edge findings in the social sciences.

We encourage interdisciplinary and policy-relevant studies that address global challenges, including those aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as quality education (SDG 4), gender equality (SDG 5), reduced inequalities (SDG 10), and peace and justice (SDG 16).

We welcome original research across the social sciences, including but not limited to:

- Anthropology, Archaeology, Arts
- Communication Studies, Criminology & Criminal Justice
- Cultural and Ethnic Studies, Economics
- Education, Geography, History
- Law, Linguistics, Management
- Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology

All manuscripts undergo rigorous double-blind peer review. Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished manuscripts that are not under consideration elsewhere, through the journal's online submission system or by email. All articles are published under a [Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0)], ensuring free and immediate open access for all readers.

Paper Selection and Publication Process

a). Upon receipt of a manuscript, the editor sends a confirmation email to the corresponding author within 1–3 working days. If this confirmation is not received, the submission may have been missed. Please contact the editor promptly in such cases.

b). Peer review: A double-blind review system is used, where both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous. Each manuscript is reviewed by three experts—typically two external reviewers and one editorial board member.

c). The review results are communicated to the corresponding author via email.

d). If the manuscript is accepted, the authors revise it according to reviewers’ comments and pay an article processing charge (APC) of 100 USD.

e). The published article is made available in PDF format on the journal’s website and is freely downloadable.

Reviewer Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree or above in a social science field (e.g., sociology, political science, education, psychology, economics, anthropology, etc.)
